It has traditionally been difficult for us to concisely explain what we do. At its core, though, it is quite simple.

“What does HFW do?”
 
A simple question that has been a challenge for us to succinctly answer.
 
What we do is complicated. So how do we communicate that in a way that’s easy to understand but that also captures the complex, mission-critical nature of the work?
 
This is crucial not just in marketing to potential customers, but in building pride in our employees, too. If our employees don’t buy in, who will?
 
What’s difficult with the work HFW Industries, Inc. and our customers do is that it is essential but often operates in the background. It is there, but you don't even realize it.

While many of our customers aren’t typical household names, they produce the materials that nearly every household relies on in some form or another.
 
From the glass and chips in your phone and car to the energy and power generation that keeps them running, the equipment we manufacture and rebuild is intimately integrated in the industrial processes that produce the critical elements of modern society.
 
So while the work we do may be not be familiar to the general public, it is part of this hidden infrastructure that supports the every day world we live in. We can’t live without it.
 
So what does HFW do?
 
Well, I guess it's simple, actually: we keep the industrial world running.
