Two Second Lean

Small, incremental improvements each day are transforming HFW as we know it. 

Recently, Ben, our Milling Lead Man, had the idea for our Plant Engineer, Tucker, to build this tool tag system so that milling tooling is instantly identifiable while in the machine. This will allow tooling to be quickly selected while reducing time spent double checking, selecting the wrong tool, etc. This also acts as another error proofing system to reduce the likelihood of mistakes. 

I am grateful that we have an entire team of people like Ben who are constantly thinking of minor tweaks to improve the way we do our work. This is the culture we work hard to foster, and this makes for a deeply fulfilling work environment.
