Every Job Matters

At companies like HFW, every job is meaningful. 

I recently read a book titled “Bullsh-t Jobs.”

The basic premise was that an alarmingly large percentage of workers spend their time working jobs that they believe bring no value to the world.

In other words, many people are convinced that their jobs could be eliminated and nobody would notice.

On the surface, getting paid to do very little or even nothing sounds great.

But, as the author notes, this is incredibly demoralizing and often leads to depression and other mental anguish.

It’s not hard to see why.

Your self worth plummets when you feel that you are not actively contributing to the world around you.

The good news?

It doesn’t have to be that way, and at companies like HFW Industries, Inc. it isn’t.

Being a small business, we have to be lean.

In short, there are no bullsh-t jobs at HFW.

Today more than ever, the world needs people who make things (and people who help them make things—this is where engineering, supply chain and accounting come in).

And as it turns out, few things are as fulfilling as making things.

Making things is the antithesis of bullsh-t.
